Currently, this tea is the spring tea of 2022. Its taste is slightly different from the previous batch. The boss personally thinks this one is even better, with a stronger honey flavor. Of course, everyone has different preferences. Some customers have asked if there is still any of the previous batch because it was really delicious. However, this rare tea is limited in quantity, so the boss suggests buying a can first to try it out. If you like it, then buying 1 catty would be more economical.

Queen of Teas -
After being bitten by small green leafhoppers, the tea leaves undergo "salivary action," which triggers a charming honey fragrance. The processed Gui Fei Oolong has a unique fruity honey flavor, with an aura as enchanting as a noble concubine. It's a rare and exquisite tea.
The tea liquor is as clear as amber.
The taste is warm, mellow, soft, and delicate, instantly filling the mouth with a rich honey and fruity fragrance, providing a rich taste.
The aftertaste has a faint honey aroma, mellow and smooth.
Three Major Features of Gui Fei Tea:
Unique Features of Xinlongyuan:
Generally, Oriental Beauty tea is made from Qingxin Oolong, but ours is made from Red Heart Oolong, giving it a unique aroma and taste that is gentle on the stomach. Unlike Oriental Beauty from low-altitude tea regions, our tea region is at a high altitude, providing a "mountain head aroma" and a richer tea flavor.
Tasting Method:
When brewing Gui Fei tea, do not use boiling water at 100 degrees. The water temperature should be around 90 degrees (boiling water from a water dispenser is also fine) to prevent the unique proteins in Gui Fei tea from breaking down and causing bitterness. Steep for about 50-60 seconds, then pour out the tea liquor to drink. For subsequent infusions, increase the steeping time by about 20-30 seconds each time.
The recommended brewing amount for Gui Fei tea is one-third less than that of regular tea leaves (for better flavor, as the tea leaves are thicker).

【Ultra-High Altitude · Natural Honey Scent · Silky Cold Rhyme】
The Lishan Honey Fragrant Oolong is one of the most difficult teas to produce in Taiwan. It requires the pristine, high-altitude environment of Lishan (2,000m+) and a completely pesticide-free ecosystem to allow the Green Leafhoppers to thrive. The result is a tea that possesses both the legendary "thickness" of Lishan and the intoxicating sweetness of wild honey.
High-Altitude Honey Miracle: While most honey-scented teas are grown at lower elevations, this Lishan version benefits from the extreme cold and mineral-rich soil. This gives the tea a "heavier" body and a more refined, elegant honey profile compared to other regions.
Ecological Bug-Bitten Rarity: The honey aroma is a 100% natural chemical reaction within the leaf after it is bitten by leafhoppers. This process can only occur in clean, organic-standard gardens, ensuring a pure and healthy product.
The "Lishan Cold Rhyme": Even with its honeyed sweetness, the tea retains the signature "Cold Rhyme" (冷韻) of Pear Mountain—a refreshing, airy finish that cleanses the palate.
Silky & Nectar-like: Thanks to the high pectin content of Lishan tea leaves, the texture is remarkably velvety, feeling like liquid silk in the mouth.
SGS Certified: 100% authentic Taiwanese origin. Guaranteed Zero Pesticide Detection (N.D.), confirming the ecological integrity of the harvest.
Aroma: A mesmerizing bouquet of wild mountain honey, white orchids, and ripe stone fruit.
Flavor: Rich and velvety. It enters the mouth with a surge of natural sweetness and develops into a complex, buttery finish with a powerful, lingering "Hui Gan" (returning sweetness).
Liquor: A clear, luminous golden-amber with a brilliant glow.
Origin: Lishan High Mountain Region, Taichung, Taiwan (Altitude: 2,000m+).
Craftsmanship: Hand-picked (selecting insect-bitten leaves) $\rightarrow$ Medium fermentation (to develop the honey sugars) $\rightarrow$ Expert rolling $\rightarrow$ Precision finishing.
Professional Brewing: Use a porcelain teapot or Gaiwan. Use 8g of tea for 150ml of water.
Water Temperature: Use water at 92°C–96°C. The high-altitude leaves are robust and the honey proteins are best released with consistent heat.
Durability: This is an exceptionally durable tea; expect 7 to 9 rewarding infusions, with the honey notes evolving into a sweet mineral finish.
Q1: Is this different from Honey Fragrance Black Tea?
A1: Yes. While both are bug-bitten, this is an Oolong. It is less fermented than black tea, which allows it to keep the fresh, floral "mountain rhyme" of Lishan while adding the honey layer. It is more complex and refreshing than a black tea.
Q2: Does the honey flavor fade over time?
A2: If stored in an airtight, opaque canister away from light, the honey aroma is very stable. Because it is a natural part of the leaf's chemistry, it will last as long as the tea remains fresh.
Q3: Why is Lishan Honey Oolong more expensive than others?
A3: It is a "double rarity." Lishan tea is already rare due to low yields at high altitudes. Adding the "Honey Fragrant" requirement (relying on natural insect interaction) makes the harvest even smaller and more precious.
