Originally, this meticulously crafted tea was something I only drank myself. But one day, I brewed it for a guest, who remarked that it had been over 20 years since he had tasted such tea—just like the tea his grandfather used to brew!
He insisted that I share it online so everyone could understand "what real tea tastes like!"
Actually... what the guest said was true!
When I was a teenager, I truly experienced this flavor in tea. However, because the process for this tea is more time-consuming than regular tea, it's typically enjoyed only by tea masters and within families...
This tea has a strong returning sweetness and rich aroma, and the key is its "ability to withstand multiple infusions"! Even after several steepings, the flavor remains rich.

【Durable Infusion · Naturally Mellow · Authentic High Mountain Origin】
The Alishan Mellow & Durable Oolong is a quintessential representative of Taiwan’s high-altitude tea craftsmanship. Grown in the mist-shrouded Alishan range at altitudes between 1,000 and 1,500 meters, this tea is renowned for its thick, succulent leaves that provide a remarkably consistent and long-lasting brewing experience.
"Durable" Infusion: Thanks to the high-altitude environment and traditional rolling techniques, these leaves unfurl slowly, allowing you to enjoy 6 to 8 infusions without a significant loss in flavor.
Exceptional Mellowness : This selection focuses on the "mellow" side of Oolong. It features a rich, buttery mouthfeel with a deep, honey-like sweetness that coats the throat.
Alishan Terroir: The unique soil and climate of Alishan impart a distinctive floral and fruity undertone, often described as having a hint of "mountain mist" freshness.
Masterful Oxidation: Expertly light-to-medium oxidized to balance the fresh floral scents with a more substantial, sweet body.
Safety & Purity: 100% authentic Taiwanese tea, SGS Certified with zero pesticide detection, ensuring every cup is healthy and safe.
Aroma: A comforting bouquet of wild lilies and orchids, accompanied by a subtle, creamy sweetness.
Flavor: Rich, smooth, and balanced. The initial sip is clean and sweet, transitioning into a thick, velvety texture that leaves a persistent, sugary resonance in the mouth.
Liquor: A clear, luminous honey-gold color.
Origin: Alishan High Mountain Region, Chiayi County, Taiwan.
Processing: Hand-picked and traditionally ball-rolled. This "semi-spherical" shape preserves freshness and controls the release of flavor during brewing.
Traditional Brewing: Use a clay or porcelain teapot. For 150ml of water, use 7–8g of tea. Use hot water (92°C–96°C). The first infusion takes 50 seconds; increase the time by 10–15 seconds for each subsequent round.
Daily Brewing: 1 teaspoon of tea for a standard mug. Steep for 3 minutes. These leaves are very "forgiving" and rarely become bitter if over-steeped.
Q1: What does "Durable" actually mean for the drinker? A1: It means value and consistency. Lower-quality teas lose their flavor after 2 or 3 infusions. Our Alishan Oolong remains flavorful and aromatic even on the 7th steep, making it a favorite for long tea sessions.
Q2: How does Alishan Oolong differ from Shanlinxi Oolong? A2: While both are high-mountain teas, Alishan is often described as more sweet and floral, whereas Shanlinxi tends to have a more crisp, forest-like, and "cool" rhyme.
Q3: Is this tea roasted? A3: This is a lightly roasted or unroasted Oolong. This processing style is intended to highlight the natural sweetness and "mountain charm" of the fresh Alishan leaves.
