【Certified Organic · Natural Milky Aroma · Unfermented Vitality】
The Shanlinxi Organic "Milk Fragrance" Green Tea is a unique crossover in the tea world. It is made from the Jinxuan (Taiwan Tea No. 12) cultivar, which is famous for its milky scent, but it is processed as a Green Tea (unfermented). This preserves the maximum amount of natural nutrients while highlighting a delicate, buttery sweetness.
Natural "Milk Fragrance" : This is not an artificial flavor. Because the tea is unfermented and grown at high altitudes in organic soil, the Jinxuan cultivar's natural creamy and vanilla-like aromatics are preserved in their freshest state.
100% Certified Organic: Grown in the pristine, fog-shrouded organic gardens of Shanlinxi. No chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used, ensuring the tea is as pure as the mountain spring water it’s brewed with.
Unfermented & Unroasted: As a green tea, it avoids the oxidation and roasting processes. This locks in the vibrant green color and the highest possible levels of catechins (EGCG) and vitamin C.
High Mountain Terroir: Grown at altitudes of 1,200m+, the cool climate creates a thick, tender leaf that is naturally sweeter and less astringent than lowland green teas.
SGS Zero Detection: Every batch is guaranteed N.D. (Not Detected) for over 400 pesticide residues, making it a safe, health-focused daily beverage.
Aroma: A fascinating blend of freshly mown grass and light cream or sweet condensed milk.
Flavor: Brisk and silky. The initial sip is refreshing and "green," followed immediately by a smooth, buttery mouthfeel and a lingering sweetness (Hui Gan) that feels like a light milk-tea without the sugar.
Liquor: A clear, bright jade-green with a luminous glow.
Origin: Shanlinxi High Mountain Organic Tea Garden, Nantou, Taiwan.
Craftsmanship: Rapid "Kill-green" (Fixation) $\rightarrow$ Rolling $\rightarrow$ Drying. By skipping fermentation, the "green" energy of the spring/winter harvest is perfectly captured.
Hot Brew: Use water at 80°C–85°C. Avoid boiling water, as high heat can destroy the delicate milk fragrance and make green tea bitter. Steep for 1–2 minutes.
Cold Brew: This is the best choice for cold brewing. Place 5g in 500ml of cold water and refrigerate for 4–6 hours. The milk fragrance becomes remarkably prominent and sweet in cold water.
Q1: Is there actual milk added to this tea?
A1: No. The "Milk Fragrance" is a purely natural aromatic compound found within the Jinxuan tea leaf. Our organic farming practices and non-fermentation processing allow this natural scent to shine through without any additives.
Q2: How does this differ from "Milky Oolong"?
A2: Most Milky Oolong is fermented (30-40%). This is a Green Tea, meaning it is 0% fermented. It tastes "greener," fresher, and more vibrant than a traditional Milky Oolong, while still retaining that creamy nose.
Q3: Why is it called "Joyful" or "Health-conscious" tea?
A3: Because it is organic and unfermented, it is packed with antioxidants that boost metabolism and support the immune system. The natural creamy aroma also provides a "comfort food" feeling without the calories of dairy.
